What to Expect:
Warm-Up & Mobility
Each class begins with a comprehensive warm-up to improve flexibility and range of motion in the hips, shoulders, and ankles—key areas for Olympic lifts. This may include mobility drills, dynamic stretches, and light weight movements.Lift Breakdown & Technique Drills
The instructor will break down each lift into its fundamental parts, such as:Snatch: Grip, pull, hip drive, overhead lockout.
Clean & Jerk: Pull, front rack position, squat clean, and split jerk. Technique drills will be incorporated to help you perfect form, speed, and coordination for each phase of the lift.
Strength & Power Building
We’ll incorporate accessory exercises like squats, deadlifts, and presses to build the strength and power necessary for Olympic lifting. These lifts are critical to improving performance and preventing injury.
